Legacy

Ok this might sound a little weird, but do you ever think about death? Or not so much death, but how people would react when you're gone. Confused? Well think of it this way...close your eyes and think about your closest friend. Think about the one person that you just don't know what you would do without them. Now how would you react if one day they were just gone? How would you remember them?

Lately this very thought has been so real to me! More then ever I've thought about how people would react if something happened to me. Now maybe you're thinking, "Well that's a selfish thought, Brittney." Well no, thats not how I mean for it to come across. I don't think about how many tears everyone would cry, or how many different flower arrangements people would send to my funeral. I think about the after math of it all. After all the tears and flower arrangements! (Ha! Just a joke!!) I think about the "legacy" that I would've left. How will people remember me? Will I be remembered as the stuck up pastors kid who was mean to everyone? Or will I be remembered as the girl who loved God with all her heart, and let his love shine through her?

Whether you like it or not, people watch you. If you say you're a christian, they watch you 100 times closer!! With every step you take and every direction you turn you are creating your legacy. You are creating the very person that will be remembered when you're gone. For many weeks now this thought has been engraved in my mind and all I can think about is creating a legacy for my Jesus!!! So I just have one question....what will your legacy be? It's all up to you!
